The Terms & Conditions for Key Venture Solutions Ltd trading as DPF 1st Call, your trusted mobile diesel specialist. Learn about our services, pricing, cancellation policy, and more.
Welcome to DPF 1st Call. By accessing our website or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
By booking or using any service provided by DPF 1st Call, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
2. Services

3. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: All prices for our services are provided in a formalised email quote.
- Payment: I only charge once the work required has been assessed and agreed upon. An invoice will be generated and given to you before I leave, ensuring complete transparency. Payment can be made via the methods specified during booking.
- DPF 1st Call reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:
- Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the diagnostic fee (£125).
5. Warranty and Liability
- DPF 1st Call strives to provide high-quality and reliable services; however, we cannot guarantee results in all cases due to factors outside our control (e.g., pre-existing vehicle conditions).
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
- We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
6. Liability limitation:
- In the event of death or personal injury arising from the misuse of increased engine power negligence, DPF 1st Call will not be liable to the customer for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the DPF 1st Call service, even if DPF 1st Call has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to the DPF 1st Call technician. Save in respect of claims for death or personal injury arising from DPF 1st Call negligence, DPF 1st Call liability and the liability of the DPF 1st Call technician to the customer for actual damages for any cause whatsoever, regardless of the form of the action, will be strictly limited to the fees paid to DPF 1st Call or to the DPF 1st Call technician.
- The limitation on DPF 1st Call liability will apply regardless of the form of action, whether under statute, in contract or in tort including negligence or any other form of action. For this clause DPF 1st Call includes its employees, sub-contractors, technicians and suppliers who shall all have the benefit of the limits and exclusions of liability set out in the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
7. Vehicle condition and serviceability:
It is the responsibility of you (the customer) to ensure that the vehicle and vehicle components are in good condition and have been serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. DPF 1st Call cannot be held responsible for the failure of any vehicle components which may arise after DPF 1st Call has conducted a service.
Where additional services are sought (e.g. ECU remapping), you (the customer) need to be aware that the additional power that can be gained from remapping a vehicle may have an adverse effect on particular components, where components are not of a suitable standard or have not been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. DPF 1st Call advises against the remapping of high mileage vehicles (90,001 miles and above) where certain engine components may be worn.
DPF 1st Call will accept no responsibility or liability for engine or electrical component failure. It is recognised that remapping a vehicle may highlight any weakness that your vehicle or any components already have. DPF 1st Call will not be liable for any other incidental costs arising from a mechanical or electrical breakdown, such as but not limited to private vehicle hire, travel and/or recovery costs.
8. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and handle personal data in compliance with UK data protection laws (GDPR). For details on how we collect, store, and use your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property

10. Acceptance of Terms for Service Use
By booking or using DPF 1st Call services (including mobile DPF cleaning or hydrogen decarbonising engine cleaning), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. This includes acceptance of pricing policies, cancellation terms, and limitations of liability.
DPF cleaning services are non-refundable due to the costs associated with the cleaning agents and the time required to complete the process. While the cleaning typically results in noticeable improvements in vehicle performance, we cannot guarantee a permanent solution to the issue, as there may be other underlying causes related to the DPF system. In some cases, additional measures, such as further diagnostics, likely component or DPF replacement, may be necessary, which again will incur further costs.
11. Changes to Terms
DPF 1st Call reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
